Getting You’re Trial
What happens next:
Upon submission, you'll get an email (make sure to check your spam/junk folder) within a few minutes containing your license key and the download link.
Run the .exe, paste your license key on the activation screen, and configure your first backup.
Use VaultGuard for 14 days, no charge. Run real backups, run real restores, decide whether the engineering matches the description.
If you want to keep going, subscribe through the VaultGuard Backup product page. Your existing configuration carries forward — nothing to reinstall.
If it's not the right fit, do nothing. The trial expires automatically. No surprise charges, no awkward sales call.
VaultGuard Backup is Windows software (Windows 10 and 11). You can sign up here from any device, but you'll need a Windows computer to install and run the software. After you submit, your license key and download link will arrive by email — open that email from your Windows PC to download.
I read every signup myself. I'll use your email to deliver your license key and to send you a few short messages during your trial — that's it. Your information won't be shared, sold, or used for marketing campaigns. The full data inventory is in the Privacy Policy.
By submitting, you agree to: By starting your free trial, you agree to the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Service, and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Common Questions About The Trial
Will VaultGuard charge me at the end of the trial? No. There's no card on file. If you want to subscribe at the end of your trial, you do it deliberately by visiting the product page and signing up.
What happens to my backups if I don't subscribe? Your backups remain on your storage media. They're standard Windows system images, restorable on any Windows machine with or without VaultGuard installed. VaultGuard itself stops creating new backups when the trial ends.
Can I move my trial to a different machine? Each trial license is bound to one machine's hardware fingerprint. If you need to evaluate VaultGuard on a different machine, email customer service and I'll work out a fresh trial.
Can I extend the trial? By default, no — 14 days is the trial length. If you have a legitimate reason (you didn't get to test it during the window, you're evaluating for a larger deployment, you ran into an issue we couldn't resolve in time), email customer service and I'll usually accommodate.
What if VaultGuard doesn't work for me? You walk away. There's nothing to cancel because there was no charge. I'd appreciate a quick email telling me what didn't work, but you're not obligated to provide one.
