Whether you're a Kentucky business interested in services, a VaultGuard customer who needs help, or someone with a question I haven't anticipated — every message gets answered by me, David Martin.

Page intro

Pick the path that fits your situation.

I've split this page into three sections so you can find the right contact route quickly. Use whichever fits — but if you're not sure, the email and phone number at the bottom of the page work for everything.

I'm a Kentucky business interested in services

If you run a small business in central Kentucky and want to talk about cybersecurity, backup, or ongoing IT support, the fastest path is to request a free Data Safety Check.

A 30-minute phone conversation, no charge. We'll talk about your current setup, identify the gaps that worry me most, and give you an honest assessment of what you'd actually need — even if that turns out to be "you're in better shape than you thought, you don't need me."

Request a free Data Safety Check →

If you'd rather skip the form and call directly: (270) 250-3457 · Mon-Fri, 9 AM - 8 PM Eastern

I'm a VaultGuard customer and I need help

If you're using VaultGuard Backup (or you're considering subscribing) and you have a support question, head to the support page — it has the contact info plus guidance on what to include in your message so I can help you faster.

VaultGuard Backup support →

If you're a current subscriber and your data is at risk right now — ransomware on the machine, missing files, VaultGuard itself failing in a way that's blocking recovery — call instead of emailing. Don't wait.

I have a different kind of question

Whatever it is — press inquiries, business partnerships, security vulnerability reports, billing questions, or anything else — email is the right path.

customerservice@informationsecuritykentucky.com

I aim to respond to all messages within one or two business days.

For security vulnerability reports specifically, please put "SECURITY" in the subject line so it gets prioritized.

All contact details, in one place

For when you just need the information.

Phone: (270) 250-3457 Email: customerservice@informationsecuritykentucky.com Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 8 PM Eastern (excluding U.S. federal and Kentucky state holidays)

Service area for in-person work: Central Kentucky, including Hardin County, Louisville, Bowling Green, Frankfort, Lexington, and surrounding areas. Distance work outside this area is considered case by case.

VaultGuard apps are available worldwide. Software support is handled remotely regardless of where you are.

A note on response times

I read every message myself. There's no support team in another country, no chatbot trying to deflect your ticket, no ticket numbers. Just back-and-forth email until your question is answered or your problem is solved.

For most messages, you'll hear back the same business day. If something will take longer than a day to investigate or resolve, I'll tell you why and give you an honest timeline.

If a week goes by without a response from me, something has gone wrong with the email — please call.

What I won't ask you for

A short, important list. I will never:

  • Ask for your VaultGuard administrator passphrase

  • Ask for your license key in a way that would let me activate VaultGuard on a different machine

  • Ask you to grant remote access to your computer through software you weren't already using

  • Ask for your bank account, credit card, or payment information by email

  • Ask you to send sensitive personal data through email when a more secure channel exists

If anyone — claiming to be me or claiming to be Information Security Kentucky — asks for any of these, it isn't me. Email me at the address above to verify before responding.

Final note

A one-person company has one real selling point that the big firms can't match: you always know exactly who you're dealing with. Use that. Reach out about whatever's on your mind. Worst case, I tell you it's outside my scope and point you somewhere better. Best case, we figure something out together.
